Manzanar National Historical Site

I want my boys to know that everyone was not free and we need to continue to advocate for equity and freedom for everyone, always. And that there can be pain in purpose.

“Manzanar is the site of one of ten American concentration camps, where more than 120,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated during World War II from March 1942 to November 1945 … a total of 11,070 were incarcerated there.”
