D River State Recreation Site

The delight of my tour of Oregon State Parks is that I am discovering beautiful and historic places that I just passed by for years. Hello D River State Recreation Site! You are a gem. And I finally ate at Kyllo’s (another first time ever going there) and got to see this beach as a world class destination.

Explore more at stateparks.oregon.gov … Billed as the shortest river in the world, D River flows a mere 120 feet from Devils Lake into the roaring ocean. This beach is directly west of Highway 101, smack dab in the heart of Lincoln City.
