Minute Man National Historical Park

Exploring the National Park Units is always an adventure! While attempting to get to Minute Man National Historical Park, my GPS accidentally routed me to the wrong location. So I took a tour through the beautiful neighborhoods of Lincoln, MA, then past the famous Walden Pond … how cool is that! … to the quaint and cute Concord, MA, to finally land at the Concord Unit. This GPS error was the gift of the day as this unit features the famous North Bridge, which was so cool to see! Park Chasing is always full of surprises!!!

This is where the SHOT was heard around the world on “the day of the first battle of the American Revolution, April 19, 1775.” As I was walking around the land where “A Revolution begins - A Nation is born,” I felt very patriotic for America. I have to admit that that has been challenging for me ever since the 2016 election and then the recent Supreme Court overturning of ROE. As I walked these grounds, it inspired me to continue to be proud of all of the good we have accomplished and continue to support positive progressive progress. ONWARD indeed!

And I am so excited to share this incredible experience happened during my 125th NPS Unit visit, so that is a fun accomplishment!
