Golden Gate National Recreation Area

I love visiting San Francisco and enjoying the views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Fun fact, the color of the bridge is not Red, but “officially an orange vermilion called international orange. The color was selected by consulting architect Irving Morrow because it complements the natural surroundings and enhances the bridge's visibility in fog.”

On a recent road trip to drop Mak off at college in LA, Auntie Lola and I stayed at the Lodge at the Presidio, and enjoyed the beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge. “The Presidio of San Francisco is a beautiful national park and National Historic Landmark at the Golden Gate.”
