Denali National Park and Preserve

The inspiration for our trip to Alaska in 1997, was for my brother to tour me around Denali National Park. He worked there one summer and raved about the beauty. We arrived in Anchorage and drove north to Denali taking in all of natural wonders of Alaska. Then we took the National Park bus all the way to Wonder Lake and camped out there for a few days. We almost saw the tip of Denali, but she was covered by clouds. Still stunning to see this land and all of its splendor.

One night in the tent, it was so hot, that I got out to take a walk, only to be eaten alive by a swarm of mosquitos. I cannot wait to go back and get my official stamp!

And special thanks to Ranger Kelly for sending me my official NPS stamp and such an awesome note!
