With our detour to Capitol Reef National Park, we arrived to Bryce Canyon when it was already dark. We set up our tent and went to bed, exhausted by the awesome adventures of the day. We woke up to the sunrise to learn we were perched on the rim of Bryce Canyon. It was such an epic experience to watch the sun dance over the massive hoodoos, that I only thought to take a picture when it was under full light. It was truly an experience of a lifetime. Apparently, you cannot camp any longer on the rim, so it is now an extra special experience.

Explore more at www.nps.gov … Hoodoos (irregular columns of rock) exist on every continent, but here is the largest concentration found anywhere on Earth. Situated along a high plateau at the top of the Grand Staircase, the park's high elevations include numerous life communities, fantastic dark skies, and geological wonders that defy description.

And many thanks to the Bryce Canyon National Park Rangers for sending me my official NPS Passport Stamp!
