Black Butte Ranch in August 2021

As a explorer, I often seek someplace new to discover, however, there are a few spots that I can happily return to time and time again and they warm my heart. Black Butte Ranch is indeed one of those special locations for me. I grew up going here with friends and then was super lucky when my parents bought a house in South Meadow. And now I am super fortunate that I have wonderful friends with wonderful houses. So Paola and I packed the car full to the brim with our boys and headed to paradise and enjoyed sunny days and warm nights.

And it is always fun to drive into Sisters to get some treats at the SNO CAP Drive-In, just like we did when I was a kid. Sometimes it is nice that some things don’t change.
