Costa Rica

I have been to Costa Rica several times and it is always an adventure! Here is my first trip down to Pura Vida with my dear friend, and at the time professional snowboarder, Michele Taggart and many good fiends. Needless to say, we had a blast. It was my first time doing slow-travel and we stayed down there for three. weeks.

And it was super special to take our boys to Costa Rica in 2011 for the “Where It All Started” Tour. I met Bo over our shared love of Coast Rica. I had just returned from my epic trip outlined above and he was going down there for his first time to surf. We had mutual friends and he wanted to meet me to talk about my adventure ... yes, this was pre-internet So when we had the opportunity to go back with the kids, I wanted everyone to go to KAPU, where my Costa Rica experience started and share this magical spot with them.

We also added a stay in Guanacasta at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa where the boys celebrated Halloween!
