Chile

Hello Chile! We spent the evening in the bay and then disembarked in Puerto Williams for our return home. My Mom insists that you cannot count airports and must set foot inside the country to make it count, and I follow that same philosophy. Even though I only spent a few hours in Chile …it was a memorable experience as we were finally able to fly home (after crossing the Drake twice!). We were bummed not to make it to the Atacama Desert during this trip due to our flight delays, but it is still on my list for another day.

I like this definition of travel experiences … “Visiting a country is defined as setting foot within its border. It is not necessary to remain in any country for any length of time. Video/photo evidence, at a recognisable landmark/border sign within each country must be provided”.
