Oakland, California — Eco Akamai

My adventure to Oakland was to visit the John Muir National Historic Site and the Port Chicago Naval Magazine National Memorial, which is by reservation only. So once my date was confirmed, I booked a flight down South. I’ve always wanted to stay at a Moxy property, part of the Marriott Bonvoy group. I booked into the Moxy Oakland Downtown and loved the unique experience. I met one of the Hotel Managers and she shared that the inspiration for the hotel chain was fun boutique European Hotels.
