Dubrovnik, Croatia

The walled city of Dubrovnik has many surprises to discover. We went to seek food and adventure and the city delivered!

Our first dinner was at Taj Mahal, a Bosnian Cuisine Restaurant. We ordered everything on the menu and it was all delicious.

For lunch, after hiking the way, we landed at Bota Sare for sushi. Finally, we taste the local oysters and fish and it was delicious!

For Accommodations, we stayed at The Pucic Palace, in the heart of Dubrovnik. “The irresistible charm and luxury of the Mediterranean baroque pervade every corner of The Pucić Palace. Named after the famous citizens of Dubrovnik, each room and suite boasts its own peculiar and opulent design, as an homage to these distinct personalities whose lives are woven into the very essence of the city. Contemporary amenities seamlessly blend with exhibited antiques, artwork, and the original palace architecture, in a delightful feast for body and mind alike. “

However, Julie scored a super affordable Airbnb in the walled city just down the street from us. It made me think of other options for Mak when he ventures out to travel with friends during his study abroad in London next Spring. I found Apartment Nina Old town (terrace with sea view) for a great price in a great location. As I travel more, I will start to investigate more cozy and affordable accommodations.

The next time I go to Dubrovnik, I might stay at Nave Apartment in between Old Town and Banje Beach.
