White Sands National Park

At White Sands National Park we were transported to another world and I felt like I was walking on the Moon. When I worked on Capital Hill, we had a constituent that was passionate about the need for NASA to go back to the moon to erase the footprints that the astronaut left behind. All of these years later, I am convinced that the wind did her work and the surface is pristine.
