Timucuan Ecological & Historical Preserve

One of my favorite experiences at National Park Service Units is to see Junior Ranger’s get inducted as future stewards of the parks. Upon arrival to Timucuan Ecological & Historical Preserve I was able to witness the ceremony of two new Rangers. Be still my heart! I had a wonderful conversation with their Dad at the stamp station and shared my story. He told me that I was inspiring on so many levels and they were so happy that I was now cancer free. It is these shared connections with people that I truly cherish.
