Petrified Forest National Park

When I was a little girl, my Dad would take us out into nature to hunt for petrified wood and arrowheads. So I’ve always held petrified wood in very high regard. Flash forward to November 2023, I was able to visit the Mecca of petrification. I highly recommend driving to the Blue Mesa to take in the magical views.
