Isle Royale National Park

We finally made it to Isle Royale National Park! After planning for over 1.5 years, we arrived to this remote nature wonderland. My first attempt was in June 2022, but I got COVID for the first time and had to cancel all of my travel plans to Minnesota. Then I planned it again for September 2023, with my Sister and a fellow NPS Park lover Rachel with her goal of exploring all 63 National Parks … only to realize that we had not planned our Isle Royal National Park Ferry/Sea Plane accordingly. So we pushed our experience to Fall 2024n and so happy to report we accomplished the goal … and had a great time!

Highlights from this trip were first and foremost, visiting my 42nd National Park, then my first Seaplane ride and my first time to Michigan!
