Harry S Truman National Historical Site

I had a fun and funny time visiting Harry Truman National Historical Site. I had the address down in Independence, Missouri correctly noted … but then I got confused when I left Fort Scott National Historic Site and Google Maps informed me it was nearby in Lamar, Missouri. So I drove over to the location only to discover it is actually the Harry S. Truman Birthplace which is a State Historic Site and part of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Park Chasing is always so much fun and so entertaining to me!

Luckly, on our way back to Kansas City to catch our flight, I was able to visit the official Harry Truman National Historical Site!
