In 1995, my brother Troy and I did a road trip adventure to Utah to visit all five of Utah’s National Parks. We flew to Utah in the Fall and then camped out while we took our whirlwind tour of the parks. The first night, we tried to go to a bar, only to discover it was for members only. As we processing this reality, we were saved by some nice guy that shared we were his friends. After a burger and a beer, we set up camp … and then it started to snow. It was a very cold start to our very fun adventure.

Our first stop was Arches National Park. We took a long hike and absorbed the beauty under the warm sun.

Explore more at www.nps.gov … Visit Arches to discover a landscape of contrasting colors, land forms, and textures unlike any other in the world. The park has over 2,000 natural stone arches and hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive rock fins, and giant balanced rocks. This red-rock wonderland will amaze you with its formations, refresh you with its trails, and inspire you with its sunsets.

And a big thank you to the NPS Rangers for sending me my official stamp and such a nice note of encouragement!
