Teva Midform Universal Sandals

When I was in college at the University of Oregon, an REI opened in Eugene. There was a line out the door to shop and I was so thrilled to add to my outdoor chic wardrobe. I exited the store with a pair of Tevas, which I wore diligently in the sunshine for almost ten years. It wasn’t until the Velcro could no longer fasten, that I had to finally say goodbye.

Fast forward to now, as I am gearing up for my SE Asia adventure, which will be very active with many boat rides and bike rides, I knew I needed a new pair of Tevas! Thankfully fashion has also inspired the outdoor market … and I now own the Teva Midform Universal Sandals, with just a little bit of extra cushion. I love how they fit my foot and I am excited to sport them during my travels.

And when the day comes to say goodbye to this pair (in perhaps ten years time again), I can recycling them with TevaForever Recycling Program, a recycling program with TerraCycle.

Teva has been “Building a legacy, since 1984. The original sport sandal emerged from the shores of the Grand Canyon back in 1984. Born out of necessity to prevent sandals from floating downstream, a resourceful river guide strapped two Velcro watchbands to a pair of old flip-flops. And just like that, Teva was born. In the years following, Teva has retained the same pioneering spirit and continues to celebrate the freedom to explore.”
