My son Ryder goes to college in Olympia, Washington and it is always fun to visit him!

I highly recommend a stay to soak up the adorable downtown and to grab pizza at the Old School Pizzeria. We ordered a large pie with half and half of the Old School with fresh mozzarella, pomadoro, and fresh basil AND the Princess with spinach, feta, and sundried tomatoes. Plus I enjoyed a delicious Dinner Salad which was a green salad with the works … olives, artichoke hearts, tomatoes &  mozzarella.

For accommodations, I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Olympia. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I am always happy to stay at nice hotel with a bar. Upon arriving back to the hotel, I used my food and beverage credit to enjoy a Margarita and met some nice people in the lounge.

Next time I come up, I want to tour more of the downtown area and visit the vintage stores and see some street art.
