Key West, Florida

I think I found my forever favorite spot in Key West! You can bike everywhere, play pickleball daily, and enjoy music, art and cold beverages … and all the while feeling a nice breeze in your hair! Pretty much all of my favorite things in one place. And there is so much more to discover on this 2 x 4-mile island and I am so excited to get back for more fun!

Enjoy some of my favorite things …

We loved our hotel, The Reach Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton, the home to Key West’s only private natural sand beach. Our room overlooked the bocce ball court, the much beloved pool and then the stunning beach. Each morning, after pickleball and a great night sleep for the boys, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Four Marlins. Each morning, I ordered the lobster omelet and each morning it was delicious. Bo and the boys ordered everything else on the menu and loved it all. I am not normally a huge breakfast eater, but after a few hours of pickleball, we were famished. Additionally, I love having an onsite restaurant at a hotel as we could send the boys over for a snack, of cheeseburgers and fries, while we biked around town in the afternoon. And the perfect spot to grab an post-bike ride refreshment. I highly recommend a Hemingway Daiquiri.

Rent bikes! We rented our well-loved cruisers from Barefoot Billys.

Any trip to Key West must include a drink at the the Green Parrot. We had the honor os seeing Igor and the Red Elvises and they did not disappoint. And the people watching is also very entertaining.

And afternoon drinks at Blue Heaven is a splendid way to beat the heat.
