Everglades City

I love how our kids influence our travels in the most unique ways! As we were preparing … the night before … to go to Everglades National Park, Sam announces he wants to go on an air boat tour. I started dialing for dollars and six of seven companies said they were fully booked … until I reached Speedy’s Air Boat Tours and she said they just had room for four more people. WHEW! Sam and I went out on our epic ride at Noon and Ryder and Bo went out at 12:30pm, making for a magical experience.

Then afterward, with our map of Everglade City and a recommendation from our dear friend Thomas, we landed at the City Grill for a delicious lunch of stone crabs and tasty fried fish. It was a perfect day!
