El Mistico in New Mexico

We had a magical mystical time at El Mistico Ranch in New Mexico! We stayed in the Freya Geo Dome under the stars and windy skies and loved every minute of our adventure. Upon arrival, we loaded our treasures into a trusty cart and zig zagged through the compound of unique accommodations. En route to our lodging, we passed Casa Mistica, Ashley’s Tree House, the iconic Silver Bullet, and the Zia Geo Dome. Upon our arrival, we were enchanted by a field of mushrooms that lead us to our Coachella-Chic two bedroom dome. After we popped some champagne and had a few snacks we enjoyed star gazing and the quiet of the New Mexico mountains. I was a wee bit fearful of the opportunity to encounter a bear, so I enjoyed the comfortable interiors when the sun went down. In the morning over coffee, we were greeted by a big herd of elk and enjoyed listening to them communicate.
