October 2024 & Traveling is not Vacationing

This month, I have just returned from an epic adventure to The Stans and I explored Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan with some of my travel buddies from Antarctica. Then my friend Kelly and I stopped over for a few days in Istanbul, Turkey, which is magical country and I want to go back one day and explore more. As now my main focus, beyond family. is traveling the world with the ones I love, people often ask me if I plan on going to all the countries in the world. My goal is to say Yes to safe opportunities to make meaningful memories. There is so much of the world to explore and so much to learn.

During our trip, I saw these napkins on Instagram and bought them for all of my fellow travelers. My Mom said of my trip that sometimes travel is tough and that is why Traveling is not Vacationing. Our travel group agrees … “That’s a horrible idea. What time?”
