Life can deliver “Gifts from the Universe” and one came my way through Facebook. A fellow travel enthusiast posted that there was room available on a Croatian Cruise through the Dalmatian Islands, I asked Bo if he’s like to go with me one day and he encouraged me to take this opportunity rather than wait. So 10 days later, I was in Dubrovnik getting ready to set sail with James, Julie and her Dad Neil. Turned out two rooms opened up, so we had an Oregon group represented on the boat full of friends from Arizona. And then I arranged for us to take a day-trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina on our last day. All in all, It was an amazing adventure and a reminder to me to always say YES to good opportunities.

And my trip to the Persian Gulf in January 2024 was cancelled due to the unfortunate conflict in the region, but I had already made the easy decision to not go. It will have to wait until more peaceful times.
