Oregon
I was born in Oregon and still call Oregon home. I’ve moved away a few times … to Colorado and to Washington DC, but Oregon has always been my first love. I’ve lived in Corvallis, Salem, Eugene and Portland.
This photo was taken in my backyard and we love being able to see Mt. Hood when the skies are clear.
During this global pandemic, our favorite part of Oregon is the trails in our neighborhood. We often hike to Pittock Mansion, to Hoyt Arboretum or to Forest Park. The slow down enabled us to truly appreciate what was just outside our front door … and each hike is a new adventure.
One of my all time favorite destinations in Oregon is to the Tu Tu' Tun Lodge in Gold Beach up on the Rogue River. I flew down there with my parents and sister a few years ago and I could post up there for days.
And I finally made it to Crater Lake at age 51!
