Ever since the movie Mystic Pizza hit the theaters in 1988, I’ve been wanting to visit this iconic place. Sammy and I had a delicious lunch of fried pickles for me and a calzone for him. And that night, I watched the movie again for the first time in forever. The acting was awesome, but some of the storyline would not be green lighted today. Sam scored a “Slice of Heaven” t-shirt which is so cool. Next we want to go to Essex and Old Lyme to visit with friends we missed during this trip … so we will be back for some pizza!
