September delivered a new milestone with Ryder taking flight and headed to college. We packed every day, little by little, and bit by bit. Then it was time to take him up to Olympia for his next chapter at The Evergreen State College. As is tradition, Lola joined me for the adventure. After we moved him in and said our goodbyes, she and I headed up to San Juan Island for a weekend of R&R … and to visit the San Juan Island National Historic Park. Upon arrival at the Park, I realized that I had NOT actually been here before, so after counting it as one of my first NPS parks, I was humbled to be corrected. The island is stunning and we had so much fun! It is always awesome to get out and about with your best friend!
