Tuzigoot National Monument

On our way back down from the mountains, we visited our fourth and final park of the day … Hello Tuzigoot National Monument! Again, we were in awe! The blonde rocks from the Verde Valley melt into the landscape and we loved adventuring around the sacred grounds (again … Ryder was such a fun adventure buddy today!)

And we loved their sign … “Take nothing but pictures … Leave nothing but footprints.”

The Ranger also shared some Field Notes about this Native Ground and the headline reads … “Tribes could lean an emerging effort to conserve 30 percent of the country —- if green groups and the government are willing to follow.” I agree!
